Long time no see!

The functionality/setup of the Personal sites was open to abuse/misuse [and was] and the only real method to closing the 'door' was to disable them entirely.

You can in particular thank one individual whose 'demise' even failed to stop the problem continuing....

It'd be 'nice' to see something done / in its place, but it won't be high on the agenda/to-do list ...

So, does this mean that even an admin can't change what's on these pages?

Most likely not.

I'd believe that only those with their hands directly at the code can change it, at the moment.

If there is something egregious tha tyou need removed, drop me a PM and I'll see if anything can or should be done.
